ICRT Animal Reiki 1 & 2 Training Workshop

~ Upon completion of this 2 day training workshop, you will be certified as an ICRT Animal Reiki 1 & 2 practitioner and able to provide treatments to all species of animals in person or by distance.

Our Reiki Training Workshops are available either In-Person or Online.

About this Training:

The ICRT Animal Reiki energy received in this workshop is a powerful new energy all its own. It was developed by the Holy Fire® III Reiki energy and is Reiki energy specifically for animals. It's a different energy than human Reiki. The energy is healing for human caregivers, as well as the animals. Visit our Animal Reiki page for more info on the benefits of Animal Reiki.

This training is open to all Reiki lineages & belief systems with animal relationship. The placement given during the workshop will attune and unify the Animal Reiki energy with your existing Reiki energy and symbols.

This Animal Reiki training is thorough and comprehensive. It includes the Animal Reiki Placement which attunes the practitioner to the Animal Reiki symbol and gives them the ability to channel the Animal Reiki energy. This training also includes practitioner skills, tools, and techniques.

In this workshop you will:

Receive Animal Reiki Placements 1 & 2
Receive the Animal Reiki symbol
Learn the 3 priorities of Animal Reiki
Be qualified to give in--person and distance Animal Reiki sessions
Learn how to give Reiki to many different species of animals
Learn session techniques, both in-person and distance
Get experience working with animals in real-time on Zoom
Learn basics on shelter and volunteer work, and creating your own Animal Reiki business

This workshop includes ICRT Animal Reiki 1 & 2 attunements, certificate of completion, and a manual, "ICRT Animal Reiki Training I & II Manual" by Colleen Benelli, Sioux Strong, Robyn Benelli, and Pamela Allen-LeBlanc.

The class is a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration, and practice time. Each student experiences giving Reiki to an animal in person (if an animal is available at their location) and by distance (students will practice on each others animals) using human Reiki 1 & 2 symbols and techniques such as Byosen scanning, Koki-ho (sending Reiki with breath), and Gyoshi-ho (sending Reiki with the eyes). Practice time is given using the Animal Reiki symbol.

It's not necessary to have an animal companion with you to complete this workshop.

PREREQUISITE:

*Successful completion of Reiki 1 & 2 training with ability to send Reiki at a distance
- Previous Reiki 1 & 2 training can be from any Reiki lineage, but must have included sending Reiki at a distance -- distance Reiki is used extensively in this class and with Animal Reiki sessions, in general.
- Proof of Reiki 1 & 2 training required:
  - a legible copy of your Reiki 1 & 2 certificate (signed by your instructor and with completion date) is required at time of registration.
  - Please email a copy of your certification to sheryl@soul-smudge.com immediately upon registration. Admittance to the workshop is contingent upon verification of previous training.
  - There is no practice period required between Reiki 1 & 2 and Animal Reiki 1 & 2. You may take Animal Reiki 1 & 2 immediately after receiving Reiki I & 2 certification.

WORKSHOP COST: $495 or *4 payments of $131.50

Workshops can be paid for in full at time of purchase or a payment plan with monthly installments is available.
- Regarding payment plans: It is not necessary for all payments to have been made before the workshop begins. Payment plans are made between you and our payment processor, Stripe, as part of their "Buy Now, Pay Later" payment options. This allows you to pay in monthly installments based on your agreement with them. Please refer to the Purchase Terms & Conditions page for more details.
Refunds & Rescheduling:
- Workshops are refundable up to 14 days prior to the start of workshop. After that date, refunds will not be issued.
- If a workshop needs to be rescheduled after the refund date has expired, please refer to the rescheduling terms listed on the Purchase Terms & Conditions page.

In-Person Workshops: Note: locations will vary based on availability and may include:
- Soul-Smudge office in Cypress, TX
  - Due to building restrictions, we cannot have animal companions in the office. So, lecture will be held at the office and practice time will be conducted virtually using animal webcams or at a local facility that has access to animals, if available.
- Local shops, community centers, or other venues, pending availability.
- A Personal Residence
  - These can be private classes or a group class, with permission of the residence owner.
- A local facility that has access to animals, if available.
- The location will be listed for each specific workshop on the Soul-Smudge Classroom website.
Online workshops are held through our Soul-Smudge Classroom website. They are conducted using Zoom video conferencing in the Soul-Smudge Classroom learning environment. Workshops are conducted real-time and are not pre-recorded.

Length of Training: Two full days (9hr 30min each day)

Time: 9:00am - 6:30pm Central Standard Time each day; several short breaks & 1 hour lunch will be taken

Attendance & Participation: Attendance is required for the entire workshop, as well as participation in discussions, meditations, and practice time, in order to complete the training and receive certification.

In-Person students will receive their manual on the first day of the workshop.
Online students will receive a digital copy of the manual.
- Instructions will be sent prior to the 1st day of the workshop via email for accessing an digital version of the training manual. *The email address you provide at registration will be used to access your manual, so please provide a valid email address when signing up. Please check your spam folder!
The digital version of the manual is accessed through the ICRT website.
- Notes regarding digital manuals:
  - You will have permanent access to the digital manual through the ICRT website; however, the manual cannot be downloaded or printed.

Symbols Quiz: You will be asked to draw the symbols from memory on the 2nd day of class (you'll have them in advance and have plenty of time to practice prior to the quiz)

What you'll need:

For ONLINE students taking the workshop via Zoom in the Soul-Smudge Classroom:

Computer or tablet with webcam and microphone (I will be screen sharing documents, images, videos, etc. so you will want to have a device with a screen large enough to see what is being shared.)
Zoom is required and will need to be downloaded to your computer, smart phone, and/or tablet device. We use phones and tablets to video the animals during practice sessions.
- Please see the Zoom website for instructions on set up if you are new to using Zoom.
A tripod for your phone or tablet is recommended but not required. The class is all day, so if you will be using a phone or tablet, a tripod is highly recommended. It's also useful for practice sessions.

Quiet, private location to attend the workshop
- *Meditations are an integral part of the workshop and how you receive your attunement. You'll need a quiet space. It's important to find somewhere you won't be disturbed.

Surrogate: you'll need to have something to practice hand positions for distance Reiki, such as a bed pillow or large stuffed animal or doll

Dress comfortably: I highly recommend loose, comfortable clothing, as we will be meditating and practicing giving & receiving Reiki.
Pillow/blanket for use during meditations, if desired
Music for meditations, if desired. Smooth, calming music without lyrics is recommended.

Animal Companion: It's not necessary to have an animal companion for class. However, if you have an animal available, please let me know at the beginning of class, what kind (i.e. cat, dog, goat) and how many. We may take the opportunity to have you or other students work with them in practice sessions.

Dress comfortably: I highly recommend loose, comfortable clothing, as we will be meditating and practicing giving & receiving Reiki. Depending on location, we may be outside, so please dress for the heat/cold and wear enclosed shoes to protect your feet and toes.
Animal Companion: For health and safety of your human classmates, as well as your animals and the animals at the class location, please DO NOT bring your animal to the workshop. It's not necessary to have an animal companion for class. If there are animals available at the location, we will be working with them. If not, we will work with animals via animal webcams or (if available) we will drive to a location that has animals that we can work with. Instructions will vary per workshop. I will email you with instructions regarding your particular workshop.
